Challenge: Create a Grid Layout!

>> Wednesday, April 20, 2011

One of my favorite go-to page designs is a grid. I love the instant stability this foundation gives a layout, creating specific areas for photos, journaling and embellishments. The nine-square grid is as simple as sketching a tic-tac-toe board on your page, and then filling each area with something:
Lily Bee Supplies:
Picket Fence patterned paper - Cottage Garden
This & That patterned paper - Brooch
Hello Sunshine patterned papers - Fly a Kite
Hello Sunshine chipboard stickers
Vintage Poppy rub-ons

Lovely rub-ons

So here's my challenge to you: Create a grid layout! It can be a 9-square grid like mine, or use more or less squares- it's totally up to you! To participate in the challenge, please use at least one Lily Bee product (from any collection). Post your layout on Lily Bee's Facebook fan page & make sure to title your post Lily Bee Challenge: Grid Layouts or you can include a link where your layout appears (gallery/blog) in the comment section of this post.

We will choose one lucky winner by random next Wednesday, April 27th, by 9pm EST. The winner will receive the ALL the papers and rub-ons from the Three Little Birds collection! So go get busy and make some grids!

Hooray for grid challenges! Love grid designs, but seem to mostly make them for challenges.
