Blog Hop Day 4...

>> Thursday, May 17, 2012

Happy Thursday! I hope you have been enjoying our projects this week and seeing how we've been using our products with Epiphany Crafts and Glue Arts. The three are a super combination together!

I'm so excited to share with you more fabulous cards today from Danielle, Julia and Kim.

First up today Danielle Flanders. Danielle is the Queen of Cards and I just ADORE how she has taken our Index Journal Cards and created them into a Handmade Card .

I love the Epiphany Crafts Bubble Oval she's used to embellish our the floral stamp from our Victoria Park Collection onto side of the card.

Our ABC Stickers are perfect to spell out any size title or message you want to share on the outside or inside of your card.

Danielle's cards are a perfect example of how versatile our Index Journal Cards are to use and not just for journaling!

Kim has created her card using our Bag of Bits and Index Journal Cards. She adhered her "Bits" using the Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro, 3/8” Raisen’s Adhesive Squares AND U CUT IT 1/8” Foam Adhesive.

She also embellished the card with the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool & Accessories Bubble Caps Round 14.

Next up is Lisa Day using our Buttercup Collection.

Lisa used the Glue Arts Raisens on the back to really make her Bag of Bits Banner's pop!

And last but not least are Julia's two beautiful cards. Here she's used the Index Journal Cards as an embellishment on the outside of the card and adorned it with the Epiphany Crafts Accessory.

Our Bag of Bits make is a snap to make a card in no time at all.

We've got another great giveaway for you. Epiphany Crafts is offering their NEW Pennant Studio Tool and Pennant Accessory's for one lucky winner. Go "LIKE" Glue Arts and Epiphany Crafts on their Facebook Pages Post on their Wall that Lily Bee Sent you. We'll choose a winner next Monday, May 21st and announce the winner here on the Blog.

Being a Mother...

>> Tuesday, May 8, 2012

Being a mother is such an amazing thing!! I don't take enough time to tell my kids how amazing they are and how much I love being their mom. But that's the nice thing about scrapbooking (and Lily Bee), I can easily fix that. I decided to write a quick letter to my kids and then pair it with a picture and some fun papers and embellishments.

I left the layout very simple so the focus would stay on the letter. Sure it's not a profound or perfect letter, but my kids loved it and that's what matters.

The Lily Bee bags of bits and alpha letters are such a perfect way to dress up a layout, but keep it simple at the same time.

With Mother's Day being on Sunday, now is a perfect time to let your children...or your mother...know how important they are to you!

Lily Bee Supplies:
Pattern Paper: Handmade-Patchwork, Handmade-Pattern Block, Handmade-Thimble
ABC Stickers: Handmade

Take on Sketch Challenge #6

>> Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Hello everyone...Katja here!

It's my turn today to post a take on Lisa's great sketch from last week.
I took the sketch, flipped it around so my photo is on the right instead of the left side and made an A4 Layout.

Here is the sketch again...

And this is what I came up with...

I have used some circles masks on my background paper and just went to town with different colors of mist. Then I added the circle stamp from the 'Picket Fence' stamp set and this gave me a base to work from and add all my embellishments.

And here is the fine print for the challenge:
1) Use at least two Lily Bee products (any two).
2) Post your layout on our Facebook page (please include the title Lily Bee Sketch Challenge #5)
3) -OR- inc
lude a link to your project in the comments of Lisa's post. Please do one or the other, not both.
3) The deadline is
Tuesday March 20th, 9PM EDT. We'll randomly pick one winner to receive some delicious Lily Bee products!

Lily Bee Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Memorandum - Office Blue, Lemon, Whiteboard
Index Cards: Memorandum
Mixed Cardstock Stickers: Memorandum
ABC Stickers: Memorandum
Stamps: Picket Fence, Memorandum
Tiny Tablet: This & That
Let's see what you can create from this sketch!
