Vintage Halloween

>> Tuesday, October 26, 2010

One of the many reasons I love Lily Bee is because their collections are so versatile and work well with one another. Even if you are creating a themed layout-- say, Halloween-- Lily Bee products will give your layout a gorgeous vintage look.
I created this layout by pulling pattern paper from Lily Bee's Christmas Town, Catching Fall, French Couture, and Audrey Collections. This color scheme made for the perfect Halloween layout with a vintage twist.

I paired these papers with Maya Road's frame chipboards to make some Halloween frames. I stamped two of the frames very dark, five of the frames were stamped lightly, and left a three totally bare to create some variety. This kept the frames from overwhelming the page.

Finally, I used banner stickers from both the Catching Fall and Christmas Town collections as part of my title. I love how the black banner stickers from Christmas Town and the orange banner stickers from Catching Fall can be paired together to make the perfect Halloween embellishment.

After you take your Halloween photos this weekend, pull out your Lily Bee papers to create a fun, classic, Halloween layout!

One of the reasons I bought the Christmas collection-I knew some of it would work wonders for my vintage Halloween.
