Fall Bookmarks...

>> Tuesday, September 7, 2010

During the summer, I don't spend a lot of time reading books. Now that school has started, I have more time to enjoy a little fall reading and thought it would be fun to make simple bookmarks to keep track of each book I read. Lily Bee's new Catching Fall collection of rub-ons has September, October & November months and I used them to for each of my bookmarks.

I printed an outline of what I wanted my bookmark to look like onto cardstock. Trimmed down to size and embellished with a little pattern paper.

I then added each months rub-on to transparencies and attached them to the bookmarks with eyelets.

Pretty simple! These would make for a nice teachers gift or even for your little one who loves to read.
