Using Punches with Lily Bee

>> Wednesday, July 14, 2010

Good Morning!

Today I want to share with you a layout featuring Lily Bee's Hello Sunshine Collection, matched with my favorite scrapbook tool-- punches!!

Sometimes it's nice to set the paper trimmer aside and pull out the punches. They are a great, cost-effective way to add a different look to your layouts.

For this layout, I used my favorite 2 inch circle punch to create a grid with my photos and Lily Bee papers. The patterns and colors of the Lily Bee papers look amazing-- even on a small two inch circle!

In addition to a 2 inch circle punch, I used a 1 7/8 inch scallop punch (which matched perfectly with the medium sized Lily Bee chipboard), a small butterfly punch, and the negative space of a heart punch to create small vignette's of photos and simple embellishments.

I hope this inspires you to pull out your stash of punches and use them with your favorite Lily Bee papers!

Have you been loving the AMAZING sneaks of the three new collections?? Don't forget, the deadline to submit your projects to be Lily Bee's Guest Designer for the month of September- and work with ALL THREE new collections- is July 31st. Good Luck!!!

This project is fabulous! This is the perfect idea to cut-out those other beachgoers that are too hard to avoid in the background of beach pictures! Such beautiful little touches and journaling!

Adorable!! Love 'hot to the 4th degree' or is it 'Henry at age 4'? Just very clever!
