A Lovely April Contest

Edited: I've added instructions for putting a blinkie on your blog at the bottom of this post.

We want celebrate April with another contest and we think you'll find it quite lovely. Each week for four weeks we are giving away the entire Lovely collection. See the lovely blinkie on the right side? All you need to do to win is put it on your blog and link us to it on this post. We'll randomly pick one winner and start a new post each week.







Just to get your competitive energies flowing we want to share a layout using the Lovely Collection by the lovely and talented Stephanie Howell.

We're excited to see your blogs!

Instructions:
1. Right click (ctrl click for mac users) the blinkie image and save it to your desktop/computer.

For Blogger:
1. Go to "layout", then "add gadget" then "add picture".
2. Type in a title (this is for your reference only), type in the url http://lilybeedesign.blogspot.com and upload the photo.
3. Save it and it should show up on your blog. :)

For Typepad:
1. Under the "Library" pull down at the top of your dashboard, choose "file manager".
2. Upload the image.
3. Now click on the image link from your file list
4. This will open up a new page. Copy the url (which will most likely be your blog address /imagename.
3. Now from the "library" pull down choose "typelists".
4. Click on "Add a typlist".
5. For number 1, choose "notes" for number 2, pick a name.
6. Pick a label name

For Wordpress:
1. From your dashboard, click on "media" then "add new" and upload the image.
2. Copy the "file url"
3. Click on "Appearance"
4. Click on "Widgets"
5. Click on "Available Widgets"
6. Choose Text Widget
7. Type in this code: <a href="http://www.lilybeedesign.com/"><img src="the_url_you_copied.gif" alt="Lily Bee Design"></a>

8. Save it
9. Now drag the text box over to your side bar to display.
