Maya Road Product Swap Part Two! (photo heavy)

>> Friday, December 4, 2009

Tonight I wanted to share more Maya Road projects that our team members did this month.

First up is Jill Sprott. Jill made this amazingly beautiful mini album by pairing Lily Bee and Maya Road (which, if you ask me, is a pretty perfect combination).

Here's what Jill had to say about her album:

I did this album documenting my daughter's week at camp.

I used Lily Bee papers, die cuts, rub-ons, and flower.
I used Maya Road envelopes, kraft tags, mists, letter rub-ons, and chipboard letter (C).

The kraft envelopes were great for storing letters, the counselor's comments, and other camp memorabilia.

I also created sewn "pockets" using Lily Bee papers, and included tags listing the "bests" and "worsts" of Z's camp experience.

like i said...amazing, right? Jill just blows me away every single time. She's so talented.

Next is this lovely layout by Nicole Harper. Love the way that Nik used color and contrast here.

used from MR:
  • chip letters
  • mists
  • velvet ribbon
  • sheer ledger tag
Lily Bee:
  • patterned paper
  • rubons

and our last layout for the evening comes from Katrina Huerta. So many fun and creative uses of edges and envelopes here.

Maya Road: kraft labels, envelopes
Lily Bee:
patterned paper, rubons, tulle flower

Hope you all enjoyed the "marriage" of maya road+lily bee.
I know we did. More to come!!
Have a wonderful weekend.
