Monday Focus On: Journaling Cards

Happy Monday! Today we will be focusing on our Journaling Cards. Our Journaling Cards can be used for some many things-embellishing, journaling, cards, tags and more.

Let's start with Julia's projects. She's created a fun "Fussy Card" and Happy Birthday Tag.

The card features fussy cutting an index card and placing it popped up over another of the same design. The surface is also painted with distress crackle paint.

The second index card Julia used as a birthday tag and played the sentiment off the number 2. Perfect to finish off any birthday gift.

Journal Cards:Buttercup, Double Dutch

Next Up, Patricia has created some Amazing Home Decor for us. I think this idea is simple enough but makes such a statement.

A mess-free way to make art for your home. The index cards are perfect and so easy to assemble right on top of the frame. Stamp the banner stamp from Double Dutch onto pattern paper, cut out, and adhere to twine.

Add a few die cuts from the Bits, some pattern paper cut from the Silhouette, some ribbon, flowers, and brads to make a banner. Stamp with the butterfly stamp from Double Dutch onto pattern paper, cut out, adhere with foam adhesive.

Add more little embellishments on top of the rest of the index cards to go along with the “Family” theme of the frame.
