Hanukkah Layouts

>> Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Hanukkah runs from December 2nd - 9th this year, so the holidays are in full swing for my family.  We celebrate Hanukkah by following all the long-standing traditions, like lighting the menorah, playing dreidel, opening presents, and -- most importantly -- spending time together as a family.

The beautiful colors and patterns of the Lily Bee papers are perfect for Hanukkah layouts.  Here are a couple of layouts that I made using pictures from Hanukkah last year.  Playing dreidel:

The chipboard letters got a little lost against the patterned background, so I painted the paper with a swatch of white acrylic paint to create a contrasting background for the title:

Happy Holidays to you and yours!
