Lily bee product. Its true! I thought that it would be torture using the older lines because the new ones are sitting right here - but it wasn't - i still ADORE the Hello Sunshine line.... the colors just make me happy. I had to keep it simple this time around since i'm still some how - 3 weeks later - in the middle of moving - my scraproom is getting neglected so i can get the main part of my house functioning. But it was nice to take that break and get back to it. So a simple card - with bright bold patterns to make you smile on this hot summer day!!
I actually found my decorative scissors in the process of moving - and used them at the top of the yellow patterned paper - and of course the die cuts are amazing - they make any card easy, fast and appealing to the eye. So if you've used the die cuts in an unusual or unique way - show us!! We would love to see.
Thanks for stopping by and it won't be long before you get to see fun projects using the NEW lines - just be a little patient with us! Have a great day!

I still adore that line, too. It's one of my favorites from Lily Bee and I could scrap with it over and over. Cute card, Brenda!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card!
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I used a Hello Sunshine die cut to create a little ladybug accent on my Lil' Ladybug LO (in gallery). http://lilybeedesign.ning.com/photo/lil-ladybug?context=latest
I simply cut out a small pie shaped piece, markered the edges and drew a half line for wings. I backed it with cardstock cut out to resemble the head and backend. I took a silver piece of wire, coloured it with a black Sharpie and fashioned antennae and adhered under diecut. I drew whites with a Signo pen and then eyes with a black pen. The finishing touch was the addition of black jewels for lagybug spots. Such a fun and easy embellishment!
Thanks for sharing the idea - the lady bug is darling!! So is your layout!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Brenda!
