Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a great weekend. My kids had Thursday and Friday off, so it was really nice to just hang out, do daytrips around our town, and cook and eat a lot.

You probably noticed some changes in our blog during the summer. We strayed a bit from our more scheduled blog posts to give all the team members more flexibility in a time when a lot of families are traveling. But starting now, we are going back to our regular schedule. That means once a week, we'll have our Focus On feature back, we'll have days showcasing layouts, another for cards and altered items, yet another for a step-by-step look at how our team members create their projects. We will also bring back our challenges (complete with prizes, of course) every other week on Wednesdays.

On top of that, we'll mix in some Studio Visits, Lily Bee News, Guest Designers, and our favorite Friday Finds, when we highlight your Lily Bee projects.

Later this month, we are going to be having a Blog Hop with one of our favorite manufacturers. We'll have some hints along the way.

We want your opinion too. Do you have anything you'd like to see us feature? More of something? Less of something? We'd love to hear from you. Let us know what you think, and to thank you, we'll draw a name to receive some Lily Bee goodies. Please leave us a comment by this Wednesday, October 5th at 9PM PT.

Before I go, I wanted to share this super cute canvas created by our team member Katja Schneider. She altered Lily Bee paper with stamps, bling, ink, glitter, paint. Love the result!

  1. I think you should briong challenges back. Personally, when there were challenges, I really used to scrap with one - your- company products, mostly. Without them, I scrap for other companies or mix all of them together.. And it's challenging.

  6. I'm new to your brand and your blog, I just bought my first Lily Bee collection last week. What I'd like to see are step by step tutorials, especially for decor projects.

  8. I'm excited about getting more inspiration on the blog. I've loved your products from the beginning.... It's great to see you continue to grow and evolve. I think challenge with giveaway would inspire creativity and give incentive for new customers to make that first LB purchase to enter (they will be hooked lol) for a chance to win more goodies

  10. I would love to see you showcase a project made by your designers, and have them do a giveaway by leaving a comment. ( Basicly, what you are doing with this post.) I love to see samples made with your products, and don't have time for blog hops. They just take so much time. Thanks for the chance to win. nathansmom7@gmail.com

  18. What about a Design on a Dime theme? This could include projects, cards, layouts all made from one set of paper. This theme could also incorporate using scraps to make and enhance layouts, cards, and projects. Just a thought...Keep up the great work!

  33. I am definitely a fan of the challenges and I would love to see more of the other blog reader's projects.

  34. I like blog hops as it introduces me to new designers' blogs. However, the long blog hops are too difficult to keep up with especially if you have only minutes here and there to visit each blog and can't remember if you've been there or not.

I like easy altered projects. Guest designers are good. I also like the start-to-finish types of posts because I get to see the designer's thought process. Thanks!
