1. Must have scrapbook supply?
- definatley patterned paper, letter stickers are my next fave.

2. Why and When did you start scrapbooking?
- I started scrapbooking soon after my now husband left to serve a 2 year mission over 16 years ago - he sent me home hundreds of pictures and i just started sticking them to paper - after that it was addiction - i was in the sticker sneeze, picture shape era - way long ago. I havn't stopped since, after having kids it definatley became more meaningful and i havnt skipped a beat since then.

3.Guilty Pleasures?
- DVR - i love that thing - cuts TV time down alot. And of course chocolate - can't live without it.

4. 2 things you want very badly at this moment?
- SPRING - please bring me some good weather!! And more time to scrapbook - it seems to be getting harder and harder instead of easier to find the time - but its a must for me!

5. 3 items in your purse?
- my fave lipgloss - victoria secret 'slice of heaven', my sunglasses, and suckers (my 3 year old is always on the hunt for something sweet).

6. Favorite scrapbook technique or style?
- definatley distressed, whether its with ink, paint or mists - or just distressing up the edges a bit - i love it.

7. When do you feel most creative?
- at night when the kids are down - but i do lay a project out and get out product i think i may use and lay it all out so when i walk in my room at night - i'm not overwhelmed with trying to do this and taking up all of my creative time!
8. Do you snack while you scrapbook - usually just drink a Diet Dr. Pepper - sometimes i break for a bowl of cereal!

9. Do you have a scrapbook confession?
- only that i have way to much stuff - and i need to purge more often. For some odd reason i feel the need to have every new piece of paper out there - and then never have the time to use it all. What's a girl to do!!

10. Favorite TV shows? -
- Vampire Diaries, Greys, Private Practice, AMerican Idol, the Bachelor - do you want me to keep going - my husband says its all SMUT - but for some reason - i LOVE watching it - only with the DVR though - cuts the time in half - my new Favorite is Parenthood.

11. Jobs you have had?
- not many - i've been in the mortgage industry for the last 14 years, before that it was a tech at Iomega. Thats it! I don't like change much!

12. What are you listening to right now?
- Angels and Airwaves - favorite band ever - right now anyways.

1. Must have scrapbook supply?
Distress ink

2. Why & when did you start scrapbooking?
I started scrapbooking four years ago after my son Jonah was born. Jonah had an unexpected 2 week stay in the NICU due to complications at birth (thankfully everything turned out fine and he went home a healthy baby!). Once we got home, I began scrapbooking about those two weeks. So much happened during that time; and recording it became very therapeutic for me. I have been hooked ever since!

3. Guilty Pleasures?
Red Wine

4. Two things you want very badly at this moment?
More patience, and a date night with my husband

5. 3 items in your purse?
Wallet, lip gloss, phone

6. Favorite scrapbook technique or style?
I love adding demension and layering to layouts. I don't know if that is really considered a technique, but i love how layering adds so much to the layout

7. When do you feel most creative?
Since I am a night owl, it is usually late at night when everyone is asleep when I feel most creative. Or sometimes in the afternoon while the kids are napping.

8. Do you snack while you scrapbook? If so, what?
i actually don't snack while scrapbooking. But if i did, it would probably be candy... definitely not anything healthy ;)

9. Do you have a scrapbook confession?
Just about every layout I create has some sort of "mess up" on it. Rarely will I start over, I either try to incorporate it in the design or somehow cover it up. I won't allow myself to be a perfectionist in scrapbooking : )

10. Favorite TV shows?
Biggest Loser and The Office

11. Jobs you've had?
In high school i worked as a hostess at a local restaurant and at Limited Too clothing store. In college I worked at an advertising agency, and as my "real job" before kids was in marketing at my family's insurance agency. And now... I am a mama!

12. What are you listening to, right now?
Since it's getting warmer outside... Jimmy Buffett!

1. Must have scrapbook supply?
Pattern papers; its my source of inspiration.

2. Why & when did you start scrapbooking?
I started scrapping around-mid 2008 when I was transferred to Singapore for work . I first started out with a little of this and that, but have only been immersed in the world of scrapbooking in the last year when I was able to join my LSS design team. For me, its the perfect remedy to de-stress after a long day of work.

3. Guilty Pleasures?
A good glass of wine after a long day

4. Two things you want very badly at this moment?
An iphone and the new collections from Lily Bee

5. 3 items in your purse?
My wallet, my phone and an IOU note from my hubby (he owes me a shopping day for loosing a bet we had).

6. Favorite scrapbook technique or style?
At the moment, my favorite techniques are misting and stitching and as for style, I'm still exploring :)

7. When do you feel most creative?
When I am lying in bed at night, the few minutes before falling asleep

8. Do you snack while you scrapbook? If so, what?
I try not to, but sometimes a bit of chocolate makes it onto my table (currently addicted to mini daim chocolates)

9. Do you have a scrapbook confession?
I'm a hoarder/shopper not a scrapper - I have scrapping goodies that are over a year old and still in the original packaging untouched!

10. Favorite TV shows?
Currently addicted to American Idol and Monk

11. Jobs you've had?
Started as a chemical engineer and now an IT consultant

12. What are you listening to, right now?

Happy Friday! It's time, again, to share some amazing work from you.

Angie Scott shared this fun layout using our Vintage Poppy collection. I love the butterflies. I think they are just so fabulous.

Erin Yamabe create this wonderful tray titled "Faith, Family, Love" using our Three Little Birds and French Couture collections. There are so many terrific details to take in. I can imagine how amazing this looks hanging on her wall.

Pia Lopez shared this wonderful layout titled "Donut Love" created using our Three Little Birds collection. I love the mix of yellow with the pink. It's very striking. And, I really love the rub-on running up the side of the page. It really makes the layout stand out!

1. Must have scrapbook supply?
Beautiful paper, flowers and lace.

2. Why & when did you start scrapbooking?

I started scrapbooking in 2004. My daughters were 1 and 2 years old at the time, and I wanted to start preserving all those precious memories for them. After completing my first scrapbook page (complete with Paperkins and all!) I was totally hooked.

3. Guilty Pleasures?

I have a major sweet tooth and I “have to” have something sweet every day. I have a bowl of ice cream almost every night. My favorite flavors are Dreyer’s Grand Light Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Peanut Butter Cup. But I try and eat healthy foods too, so I figure it all balances out.

4. Two things you want very badly at this moment?

A new house and more time during the day.

5. 3 items in your purse?
Besides the usual, there’s a compact camera (I always have it with me for those important photo opportunities), Kleenex (my grandma used to tell me that a proper lady should always carry tissues in her purse), and pictures of my family.

6. Favorite scrapbook technique or style?
Favorite technique: I love to stitch and crochet on my layouts. Favorite style: I love shabby chic layouts with lots of dimension and different textures.

7. When do you feel most creative?

I feel most creative at night after my girls go to sleep and the house is quiet. It’s my “me” time when I can focus on my art.

8. Do you snack while you scrapbook?

If so, what? Refer to my answer to question 3 above. LOL! Yes, I almost always take a little break while scrapbooking and have a bowl of ice cream. Sometimes I snack on mini peanut butter cups or M & M’s while scrapping. That darn sweet tooth of mine!!!

9. Do you have a scrapbook confession?

I’m a recovering scrapbook supply hoarder. It used to be that I could never resist a good sale, and if there was something I liked, I’d buy a lot of it so that I would never run out. I have more packs of chipboard alphas than I’ll ever use, and don’t even ask me how much lace I have (my husband says my lace collection is taking over our house). Because of my senseless hoarding, my teeny tiny little scrap room is packed to the brim. I’ve since changed my ways, and now I’m a lot more careful about what I buy.

10. Favorite TV shows?
Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, The Bachelor, Dancing With the Stars, Two and Half Men and re-runs of Friends.

11. Jobs you've had?

I work part-time as an insurance agent now, and before that I was an entertainment lawyer.

12. What are you listening to, right now?

The TV. I like to have it on in the background.

1. Must have scrapbook supply?
patterned paper! if i had nothing but patterned paper, i could make do! i love the stuff!

2. Why & when did you start scrapbooking?

I was invited to a home party for scrapbooking the year I got engaged. The first pics I ever scrapped was from one of my wedding showers. I remember that I even "got creative" then on the stuff the consultant supplied me, and did my own thing. I felt like I'd finally found a way to fully express all the things I loved: creativity, paper, stories, and photos.

3. Guilty Pleasures?

reality tv (Survivor, Big Brother, America's Next Top Model, the Amazing Race.... yeah. It's a problem.) I mostly listen to them while I scrap, though. I rarely actually just sit down and watch anything. I'd rather be keeping my hands busy!

4. Two things you want very badly at this moment?

Springtime + flip flops!!

5. 3 items in your purse?

a sippy cup, my favorite L'Oreal Infallible lipgloss in "Truffle", and my library card. Three things we can't do without! :)

6. Favorite scrapbook technique or style?
Distressed/vintage/shabby chic

7. When do you feel most creative?

At night, once the house is picked up and the kids are quieted down.

8. Do you snack while you scrapbook?

If so, what? Sometimes; usually I make homemade kettle corn on the stove. SO yummy!

9. Do you have a scrapbook confession?

My scrap area is SUPER tiny. I try to keep everything fairly purged through; sometimes as frequently as once a month! I share a craft room with my kids and I don't want to take up the whole room with my stuff (as easy as that would be!). Plus, more choices for me in my scrapping process seem to really slow me down. I keep it all down to my favorite stuff and pass on the rest to some new scrappers I know.

10. Favorite TV shows?

Ahem, see #3. ;) Also, add in "Glee!"

11. Jobs you've had?

Lifeguard, server at Johnny Rocket's, nanny, church secretary, and mommy!

12. What are you listening to, right now?

a mix of things, including Imogen Heap, Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson. etc.

1. Must have scrapbook supply?
Patterned paper and alpha stickers - I have a slight obsession!

2. Why & when did you start scrapbooking?

3. Guilty pleasures?
Seasonal beers, spending a day by myself and afternoon naps

4. Two things you want very badly at this moment?

A job where I can do what I love (or to just win the lotto!) and to travel someplace nice with my husband (we never had a honeymoon)

My iPhone, vaseline and headphones

6. Favorite scrapbook technique or style?
Simple(ish) with a touch of fun -- and anything that really captures the story and the emotion

7. When do you feel most creative?

Unfortunately, either when I'm at work and can't do anything or late at night when I should be sleeping!

8. Do you snack while you scrapbook? If so, what?

Yes, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Sprite (I probably should have listed this as my guilty pleasure!)

9. Do you have a scrapbook confession?

I have no idea what I'm doing. I just move things around until things feel right. Once I get things figured out I take a picture with my iPhone so I remember where things went so I can glue them back down in the right spot.

10. Favorite TV show?

Glee, Vampire Diaries, Charmed re-runs, Hero's, The Tudors, Lost...I watch TV while I'm scrapbooking!

11. Jobs you've had?
I started working when I was 15 on the family tree farm, after that I worked as a trainer/shift manager at BK, managed a video store, did accounts receivable (credit card collections), marketing analyst, Director of Marketing, Executive Assistant/Graphic Design.

12. What are you listening to, right now?

My kids arguing (I mean getting along wonderfully!) while I'm trying to fill this out -- in their defense it's bedtime and it's been a long warm day!

I don’t know how to answer this one. It seems I was always a scrapper even if we didn’t have a name for it back then. I guess I really got into after the birth of my daughter lexi in 1993. 8. Do you snack while you scrapbook?
If so, what? Yes! Chai teas, Earl Grey Teas & Chocolates are preferred.

Happy Friday. We are excited to share with you more fabulous finds from our gallery.

Valerie Mangan shared this gorgeous layout titled "When We Were Young" created using our Vintage Poppy, Audrey and Three Little Birds collections. I'm flat out in love with this one! The colors with the black and white photos are perfect. I love all of the little vintage details. It's a wonderful heritage layout.

Willea shared this wonderful layout titled "How to look both serious and cute at the same time" created using our Audrey collection. It's a Winter layout (judging by the photo) and yet it makes me think of Spring. I love the shape and distressed edging, how she used the die cuts to mat the photo and the flowers in clusters. It's really lovely!

Yukari Takanashi shared this breath-taking layout titled "Flower Boy" created using our French Couture collection. I can just sit and stare at this for a long time. Those hand rolled flowers, hand cut leaves, and that photo are just amazing against the kraft cardstock. It's really beautiful!

Thank you for continuing to share your creations with us.

Happy Friday! It's that time, again, where we get to show off some amazing talent here on our blog.

Katie Burnett shared this adorable layout created with our Vintage Poppy collection. I love the way she layered the circles, then randomly sewed on top of them. The overall look is really fun, just like the photos of her adorable daughter.

Jing-Jing Nickel created this absolutely adorable layout using our Three Little Birds and French Couture collections, along with a Vintage Poppy die cut. The title is so, so cute and is perfect for her photo. I love how easily she was able to mix the three lines. They look amazing together.

Antoinette van Hattum shared this super sweet layout created with our Three Little Birds collection. I have a weakness for punched borders and butterflies and I love how she's used them here on her page. My favorite part of this page is how she's framed that sweet photo. The whole layout is adorable!

Thank you for continuing to share your talent with us in our gallery. We are so grateful to all of you.
